Here’s a bit about Bella in her owner’s own words: “Bella is a Birman cat who has survived 4 years since confirmed diagnosis of dry FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis.)”
“FIP is a lethal feline disease that shortens cats’ lives. Diagnosed with confirmed dry form FIP at 6 months old, she is now 48 months old. Bella is being treated with Polyprenyl Immunostimulant and is doing remarkably well with no clinical symptoms to date.”
Bella has a Facebook page, where her owners document her adventures and her battle with FIP. She can be seen taking on many personas from pirates to fairies, and never lets her illness get her down. She enjoys bird watching and is playful and friendly. Bella also now has an Instagram and Twitter page too.
She is a real princess and when she is not playing dress up she is hand fed by her cat mom and is loved to bits.
