About Eleanor and Merlin in their owner’s own words: “My story began 5 years ago, when me and my girlfriend found a small cute kitten on the street. We named her Eleanor. Below is one of the first pictures we took of her. Eleanor is British Blue shorthair cat mix with Czech street cat.
Eleanor loves sleeping in bed, which is, of course, forbidden and is a little timid with new people. Eleanor has many traits that she probably inherited from her street cat parent, such as climbing, clawed, running, jumping, playing with the cat, destruction of furniture and interior design, etc.
Merlin – “After a year with Eleanor, we decided that Eleanor needs a cat friend. Our second cat’s name is Merlin. He is also a British shorthair. He is a gorgeous boy and looks a lot like Garfield.
Merlin is a real “aristocat”; he is pure breed and I often feel that he has royal blood flowing in his veins. You can always find him on top of things, and people around him considered as servants. He hates being disturbed, especially by a vacuum cleaner, loves water and good food.
I also have a feeling that he watches television and reads the newspapers, as he looks genuinely interested in particular subject, like for example when Kate married William. He loves sleeping in bed, mostly on my stomach
When Merlin comes back from the garden, Eleanor is often there waiting for him, looking unimpressed with his absence. Merlin gets scolded and often gets a cat slap in the face.”
