About Neelix, Adira, Delenn, Kes and Lyta in their owner’s own words:
“Named after a female character from Babylon 5. She is the oldest female cat, set in her ways.
Spends most of her time asleep indoors. Only likes to spend time with me and no one else.
Characterising features: facial mask, deep blue eyes. Mostly black and white features.”
“Named after a female character from Babylon 5. She’s the typical middle child, mostly misunderstood and opinionated. Spends most of the day sleeping and most of the night outside. She’ll stand her ground in a fight and defend her territory. She doesn’t like male cats. The dogs love to chase her, but she outsmarts the dogs by either running faster or changing direction.
Characterising features: facial colours and white toe. Fur is a mix of Black, Orange and Creamy White.”
“Named after a male character from Star Trek Voyager. He’s a lovely natured cat, with a beautiful personality. He doesn’t take any notice of the dogs, but gives Kes space as she walks by. Lyta would probably love to play with him given the opportunity. Adira has seen cats come and go and prefers to keep her distance. Delenn swears at him at every opportunity. Neelix would very much like to be accepted by Delenn but she won’t give him the time of day.
Characterising features: tail stripes at the end of the tail. Slightly stripey on the legs and sides. Tail is always erect when he’s attention is focused on you. Tail fluffs up when excited, especially when he knows he’s about to get fed.”
“Named after a female character from Star Trek Voyager.. She’s an old lady, very timid. She’d rather spend most of her time in the sun sleeping but when she gets annoyed at the neighbour’s dog she’l be sure to always have the last bark. Definitely the leader and most likely to be the instigator of trouble. Will always send in the other dog, Lyta, first if she knows that she’s done wrong.
Characterising feature: her smile!”
“Named after a female character from Babylon 5. Youngest dog, she loves to run around like an idiot chasing flies.
Whenever there’s activity in the house she takes the opportunity to grab her ball ready for a play.
Very energetic, but gets frightened easily by storms and fireworks.
Characterising feature: her right ear, facial pattern and the love of toy balls.
Both dogs are two peas in a pod, you can’t call one without the other one wanting to be involved.”
We have also received a lovely note from the their family:
“From the whole family,
We love our fur family and wish to thank Simon and his wonderful team of artists in doing such a wonderful job, we’ll treasure it forever.
